The reason why I post this Journal Entry today, not tomorrow, is that todays my last day in Germany and I'm not sure if I'll get the time and ability (internet connection...) to post this in France.
Yeah, thats the topic. Mon dernier jour en allemagne. Or for those of you who don't speak french: My last day...
So. I didn't know that its THAT hard to say goodbye.
Thats my greatest problem now. But hey. I wanted it that way and I'll leave tonight <: J'éspere que je parle francais assez bien I hope that my french will be good enough

Yeah. Next topic: GLIDING! OMFG.
On saturday, I've been to a small airfield 10 km away from here, to go gliding all day <: Unfortunately, there werent any great thermals so me and my pilot were in the air for only about 10 minutes -.-
But these 10 minutes were the best for weeks... I will maybe start getting my licence...

And as you may know, glider dont have an engine, thats why they get pulled in the air with a wire and a engine-powered winch. So. I took off, and landed again 10 minutes later. No aircraft took off while I've been in the air. So I landed again, rolling the aircraft beside the runway and the next aircraft startet right away. I watched it how it gained altitute, when I suddenly heard a little "ziiiinnng" - that was the moment, when the steel-wire broke. So the aircraft was about 70 metres high, in a 65° climbing angle - without engine or winch that would have pulled it further. It came down like a rock, collided with the runway surface and skidded away about 80-90 metres. Fortunately, both passengers (pilot AND flight instructor and his son) didn't die, they just were heavily wounded. This could have happened to me aswell. Pretty shocking, hm? .__.
